What is the difference between Calvin's Time Machine and Transmogrifier?

Answer: Quoting Athith: Transmorgifier is a cardboard box with open side facing down.... time machine of calvin is the same cardboard box with open side facing up.

    His transmogrifier lets him to transform into any desired shape and the time machine lets him travel thru time....Think he uses the same cardboard box for both purposes....

    calvin's timemachine is used to travel back to mesozoic era where as transmogrifier is used to transform one thing into another
