No. 54: Shot @ the Scoreboard

Questions 54 to 58 mark the opening of the Scoreboard. This is for December. Regular updates shall follow(hopefully).

    x - AUTO from WALL-E. The pic shows the steering wheel of the starship Axiom

    y - HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

    AUTO is said to be a tribute to HAL 9000 as both shared a common motive.
    Also, the red centre of the steering is very similar to HAL's camera eye.

    X - AUTO from Wall E. The bot on starship Axiom which tries to override human control.

    Y - HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey

    AUTO is said to be a tribute to HAL since they both shared the same motives and the centre of the steering wheel of Axiom while controlled by AUTO turned red, similar to HAL's camera eye.
