We have a huge list of achievements to cover:

Alpha-Q won the Gen Quiz at Equinox @ SJPUC.
Suvesh, Vishwas and Vishal won the Music Quiz at Equinox.
Tiwari, Ayush and I placed 2nd in the Music Quiz at Equinox.

Vineeth and Soda won the Sr.Quiz at New Horizon.
Alpha-Q won the Junior Quiz at New Horizon.
Suvesh and Vishal placed 2nd at the Junior Quiz at New Horizon.

Cheers to all....

Thank You...

The FYI meet on 6th Nov was very eventful. Thank you all for making it a success. We saw some new faces and also gave away cash prizes for the first time(thus starting a new tradition of giving money under the table to the winners).

Thanks to Babu for "Write, Scratch, Erase... Again". It was a lot of fun andquestions were aces! We were all surprised to see so many chicks in Babu's presentation though... I guess the guy is finally growing up! Homo and Srikanth came to FYI for the first time and won... in style. But the margin was small. The runners up were all separated by a maximum of 1.5 points or 1 star.

The FYI Open was super. Brunzo and I thank everyone who took part. Especially the new guys. The prelims saw the lowest high score so far(say that 5 times quickly)- 10.5 on 25. Muhahaha!

Vineeth, Vinay, Vijay(V3??) Homo and Srikanth were the only strangers to the finals. Athreya, Shreyas and Swaroop, the usual suspects were there. For the first time, a school team made it on stage. I am proud to say that they are my juniors from Carmel! Well done guys... Jayanth and Aditya. The highlight though, was Deepak teaming up with Baspure! Champions from FYI2 and FYI3 combined and as expected, stole the show at FYI4...
Though there were no jigs from Baspure's end this time, there was a brilliant crack on the theme at stage I which earned him the honorary FYI title of "Theme-appa". Hahaha...

Thank you everyone for coming and keep quizzing.
Cheers!

Keg-O-Lager V: Magna Christa

If I had to play a song at the end of our conquest at Christ Junior College on 24th & 25th Sept, I'd play Pantera's Domination. Because as we all know, F.Y.i dominated like never before at Magna Christa '09.

24th saw the General Quiz. Srimukh, Ani and Pranav finished first for SKCH while Alpha-Q came 2nd and Brunzo cleaned up the tail with Satwik and Diwakar. All 3 winners from F.Y.i. I even proudly grabbed the mike at the end of the roller-coaster quiz and showed off my gang to all dumbfounded onlookers. Muhaha...

25th was the "Science" quiz with questions about Robert Koch, Golden Hour Photography and other questions on similar levels on the pain scale which made us flinch at alarming rates. Taking 2 negatives on the buzzer, Alpha-Q came in 4th. But Srimukh and gang managed to come in 1st again(Surprise!!) while Brunzo and gang came in 2nd. Swaroop and Shreyas came in 3rd thus making it a top 4 F.Y.i finish. Pasted, belted, creamed and terminated? I think so!
May the booze flow like water... Cheers!

P.S: If Ernst Grafenberg would be revealed, we would have nailed the parts of the body question. Who says perversion is bad?
